Our Founder's Story

I never fell in love with makeup. Somewhere along the way, I realized why — the very word says it. Make-up. We use it to make up for something, to cover what we've quietly decided isn't good enough. And I kept asking myself: why are we hiding? Why have we agreed that our real skin is something to conceal rather than care for?

For years, that question wouldn't leave me. I watched millions of people — without ever meaning to — slowly wearing their skin down, layer by layer, day and night. And the cruelest part is the cycle it creates: the more we cover, the more there is to cover. The more we hide, the more we feel we have to. It quietly exhausted me, this feeling that so many of us are caught in something we never chose.

So I went looking for a different way.

I began to study — truly study. Skin types, the problems beneath the surface, what skin actually needs to heal rather than just be masked. And the deeper I went, the more I found my answer waiting in nature all along: botanicals with the quiet power to genuinely repair skin, to nourish it, to return to it the glow it was always meant to have.

What followed were three years of studying, researching, and experimenting — patiently, honestly, refining again and again — until I arrived at the formula that became RAIONA. Not a product to cover you, but one to care for you. One made for the day you look in the mirror and feel no need to change a thing.

Because I believe every woman deserves that day. To be free of the cages of makeup and chemicals — really free. Not the freedom of choosing which mask to wear, but the deeper freedom of not needing one at all. To stand in your own skin, cared for and glowing, with nothing to make up and nothing to hide.
